Neomycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic belonging to the aminoglycosides group with a bactericidal action.
Neomycin is active against various gram negative bacteria and against several gram positive bacteria e.g. Staphylococcus spp. Neomycin disturbs the bacterial protein synthesis by its action on the ribosomes.

Indications
The use of Neomycin is indicated in bacterial enteritis caused by gram negative bacteria

Poultry
Day Old to 5 weeks :Â 1 gram in 5 to 7 litres of water
6 weeks and above :Â 1 gram in 5 litres of water
