CP-Ortho Tablets contain carprofen, which is an NSAID that works by preferentially (not selectively) blocking the COX-2 enzyme. It helps limit the production of prostaglandins involved in pain and inflammation.

The recommended dose is 4.4 mg/kg body weight.
