Benefits

• After artificial insemination – Helps in the nidation of the fertilized ovum.
• In repeat breeding – Prevents early embryonic death due to progesterone deficiency.
• In threatened, habitual, and early/late abortions – Progesterone exerts a block on uterine muscles, preventing contractions of the uterus and, hence, preventing abortions.
• In prolapsed uterus and vagina – High levels of estrogen cause excessive contractions of the genitalia. This is controlled by progesterone, preventing prolapse.
• For maintenance of pregnancy – Coils and thickens endometrial glands, producing uterine secretions that are essential for the nourishment and nutrition of the early developing embryo.
• Estrus synchronization – Maintains the cow under the influence of progesterone until the corpus luteum regresses.

Composition

Each combination pack contains:

• Hydroxyprogesterone Hexanoate
• Benzyl Alcohol

Dosage

• Habitual abortion: 3 ml of Hygen after 45 days of pregnancy, repeated every 10 days for 4-5 times.
• Repeat breeding: 2-3 ml of Hygen per week for 3 weeks.
• Vaginal/uterine prolapse: 3 ml of Hygen per day for 2 days.
• Postpartum anestrus: 3 ml of Hygen; if no response, repeat after 10 days.
